Justin Boshnack

President / CEO

Justin Boshnack has a long history and career in the financial services industry. Starting at Merrill Lynch in 2001 in New York City, he has overseen ultra-high net worth assets and liabilities as a private wealth advisor and earned a Merrill Lynch CFM designation. While at Merrill Lynch, Mr. Boshnack assisted mid-size businesses with working lines of credit along with residential mortgages, specializing in Libor based loans and lines of credit collateralized by securities.In 2003, Mr. Boshnack went to work in the Commodities Futures business, a family owned business, where he served as a Managing Director for one of the largest privately held Futures Commission Merchants (FCMs), Vision Financial Markets. While there he helped to set up Introducing Broker (IB) offices to clear and execute their futures trades along with starting his own IB in 2004, as sole owner and Principle of Three Lakes Advisors. In addition, he ran due diligence of Alternative Investments and managers consisting of a wide array of Commodity Trading Advisors (CTAs) investment programs.

In 2010 to the present day, after the passing of the Dodd Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, Mr. Boshnack and Three Lakes Advisors teamed up with one of the largest interest rate and currency hedge consulting firms, Chatham Financial Services to assist in the execution and hedging of CMBS fixed rate loan portfolios via swap, Libor and treasury futures. Mr. Boshnack works with some of the largest and well known lenders.In 2018, Mr. Boshnack moved to Laguna Beach, California with his family and opened an office in Irvine to expand his business with Three Lakes Advisors and to start HedgeRock Capital, Inc., to represent and work for borrowers/sponsors in Commercial Real Estate (CRE) acquisitions, refinance and construction loans. With his experience in working with lenders for the past 10 years, he felt representing Borrowers to originate CRE loans would be a value added complement to his business.

Marina Flickinger

VP – Commercial Loan Officer

Marina Flickinger is a VP Commercial Loan Officer at HedgeRock Capital also known as Irvine Lending Company. She has over 15 years of experience in commercial real estate and financial industries. Marina has extensive knowledge in commercial real estate lending, including loan analysis, underwriting, processing, and loan originations. Prior to joining HedgeRock Capital, Marina worked as a Loan Officer at Belgravia Capital Management, a mortgage brokerage firm, where she focused on term and construction lending. Before joining Belgravia Capital, Marina worked as a Loan Production Associate at Dexia Real Estate Capital Markets, formerly known as Artesia Mortgage Capital, where she assisted two Regional Directors by providing the initial underwriting and evaluation of CMBS, Construction, and Bridge loan requests for commercial properties including Office, Retail, Industrial, Self-Storage, and Multi-Family. She has established a relationship with the West Coast office of Tremont Realty Capital, what lead to over $250 Million in financing opportunities. Prior to her time with Dexia, Marina also worked as a Commercial Loan Analyst at Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation where she participated in originating over 200 Million in loans.

Marina Flickinger studied English as a Second Language at the University of California, Irvine. She loves spending time with her step-children, playing golf, and she is a passionate ballroom dancer. Marina is also a great supporter of the Orange County Sheriff’s Advisory Council and actively participates in the Paws in Blue fundraiser that supports Orange County Sheriff’s K9s.

Patricia Kelly

Commercial Loan Originator

Patricia ‘Patty’ Kelly recently joined HedgeRock Capital in 2020 and comes with over 22 years’ experience in residential and commercial real estate with both property sales and financing transactions. Patty started at 19 years old with Security Pacific Bank and conducted over 100 loan modifications and short sale transactions. As Patty often calls herself, “The Real Estate Ninja”, Patty has the ability to see outside the box and has earned a very select and loyal clientele in the Latino Business Community with corporations and nonprofit organizations such as Pico Union Housing, Rincon Taurino, and Birrieria el Guero among other businesses when seeking solutions for Multifamily and Commercial Portfolios.

Patty has a keen interest in helping women achieve their real estate goals in acquisitions, risk management and loss mitigation and is VERY protective of her clients. Her efforts to preserve real estate ownership during tumultuous economic cycles has led her to oversee $100 million in loss mitigation activities working as an independent contractor through other companies such a Titanium Solutions. Since 2019, Patty decided to spend her focus on multifamily and commercial properties, looking to add value in generating liquidity for acquisitions and shopping the best deal for her clients in permanent financing.

While being a Commercial Loan Originator and CRE advisor is her primary job by day, on her off time Patty enjoys Salsa Dancing, Hiking and ferrying her kids to all their sports and activities. Patty is bi-lingual and speaks fluent Spanish and English.
